The Website Features

  Question: This site looks complicated to use.

Answer:  Posting is about the same as it is anywhere, but there are a lot of bells and whistles here that other sites might not have.  Take a look at the site tutorial pages for more information.

Question: Can I post videos?

Answer: Yes.  All you have to do is post the URL to the Youtube video you want and the software will auto-embed it in your post.

Question: Can I use an avatar here?

Answer: You may use an avatar up to 150X150 pixels, and Expatkorea can host it.  Porn is not acceptable avatar material.

Question: Can anyone post pictures to the hosted gallery?

Answer: Only registered users can post picture galleries.

Question: Can anyone play the games in the arcade or use the Expat Casino?

Answer: Because these features are tied to account permissions, unfortunately only registered users can use them.

Question: Why isn’t the chat function showing up?

Answer: Either you are not logged on, or you're not a member. All members in good standing may use chat.

Question: Do you have spell-check installed?

Answer: Yes we do! We also have an online thesaurus link available to you in the message posting interface.

Question: Do you host user images?

Answer: The only images we host are those in the Photo Gallery, and user avatars. In every post window, there is an option to post your images to imageshack.

Question: What's a user countdown?

Answer: In the user control panel, there is an option to display a countdown to an event on the website.

Question: Are you planning on adding new gadgets to the website?

Answer: If it looks like it might be fun, or if a user requests it (and it is possible) we'll add it!
