I went there last August...loved it.

Will give it a write-up when i have more time
Pros: very chilled out, not crowded, no hawkers, lots of things to see and very beautiful.
Cons: little more expensive than comparable places, public transportation is awful so have to use taxis (which are great), after about a week it would be pretty much covered if you want to do lots of stuff.

I did stay at a pretty nice resort (about 200 dollars a night) but there are plenty of places you can slum it.
