Default Looking at Resumes/F2 visas/Patent Office

I spent the afternoon looking at resumes. One guy wrote in his cover letter:

Quote:
Why do I have to be an F2? You are leaving out some talented people. It

does not seem fair or right.
Uh, because then the company doesn't have to worry about your visa status.

PS) Probably not a good idea to be confrontational in a cover letter.

PPS) If you're interested (it's an old one):

i'm confused; you work at KIPI and they are asking you to field CVs?

i applied for that job when it was up last time around.

i interviewed (in Korean, as requested), submitted official paperwork on my editing and managing experience, and did their practice "test."

was told (in a form letter, no less- hahaha) that i didn't have what it takes; seems they only want someone with patent editing experience.

sure enough, two months later, they go on another hiring spree.

they really should think about just giving the new hiree a bit of a training period.

good luck finding someone!

I don't know your name so I don't know what happened. This is a new position and nobody's held it before. To be honest I'm kind of against them hiring another foreigner, because I have too much free time as it is.
